Kaitlyn Weyman, MD

Biography

Kaitlyn Weyman is a PGY-3 General Surgery Resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin currently in her dedicated research year. She is originally from Kentucky, where she obtained her BA in Spanish and BS in Psychological Sciences from Western Kentucky University. She then attended medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Her research interests involve patient-centered outcomes, specifically with patients undergoing treatment for cancer. She was chosen as a We Care Scholar in support of her time with AN.ai lab. Her primary proposal is designed to utilize machine learning to continue patient care outside of the hospital in order to improve quality of life. 

Outside of the hospital, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and bunny. Her current hobbies include crochet, ukulele, and exploring Milwaukee.
