Adhitya Ramamurthi is a PGY-4 General Surgery Resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin currently in his dedicated research years. He is originally from Denver, Colorado and obtained his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University. He then completed an MD/MS program at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Clinical and Translation Science. His research interests revolve around using the power of advanced data analytics and machine learning to improve surgical outcomes as well as exploring the utility of mixed reality (AR/VR) in medical and patient education. He is planning to apply to fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Outside of the hospital, he enjoys playing hockey, experimenting with advanced home automation, and playing the guitar.
